Comments about WEBPlotter setup

The WEBPlotter setup program can install the WEBPlotter plug-in module under these WEB browsers:

The Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) uses Netscape paths to find installed plugins, so if the WEBPlotter setup finds Netscape, it installs only to Netscape plugin directory. If Netscape is not found, the WEBPlotter installs to MSIE plugin directory. To find if WEBPlotter is installed under Netscape, go to the Help menu in Netscape and select item 'About plug-ins'. You will get a page on which you should find item named 'NPHPGL32 Dynamic Link Library'. If you will not find it, the WEBPlotter is not installed under Netscape browser you are running.

There can be problem if you have installed both Netscape Navigator and Netscape Communicator. The Netscape Communicator uses the same path registry variable named 'Netscape.exe' as Netscape Navigator. So if you have installed both Communicator and Navigator, the WEBPlotter will install only to one plug-in directory of the last installed program. So if you will install Navigator and then Communicator and then WEBPlotter, the WEBPlotter will be installed in Communicator, not in Navigator. You must then copy the WEBPlotter DLL file (NPHPGL32.DLL) to Navigator plug-in directory to use WEBPlotter also with Navigator. You will find the plug-in directory in Netscape program directory, e.g.
C:\Program Files\Netscape\Navigator\Program\Plugins
or
C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program\Plugins
